Physics, explained until it clicks.

I'm Shaj — a former Head of A-Level Physics at an 'Outstanding' school, and a current A-Level Physics examiner. I've been teaching and tutoring Key Stage 5 students for more than a decade across the AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards.

Countdown to the first A-Level Physics exam: Friday 21 May 2027, 8:00am.

Every major exam board, covered properly

As a former Head of A-Level Physics and exam board examiner, I know the mark schemes from the inside — and where students on each specification tend to lose marks.

AQA

From mechanics and electricity through to nuclear and particle physics, with the required practicals and exam technique built into every session.

Edexcel

A strong focus on the synoptic, joined-up thinking that Edexcel's later papers demand, taught alongside real mark-scheme language.

OCR

Covering both OCR A and OCR B (Advancing Physics), including the data-driven style of question OCR is known for.

Taught by someone who has marked the papers

I hold a Master's degree in Physics from UCL, and spent years running an A-Level Physics department rated outstanding before moving into examining and full-time tutoring. Every session is built around what actually earns marks — not just what sounds right.
